Aspire Public Schools (Board Districts 5 and 7, Regions East and South) (Operating eight (8) LAUSD-authorized charter schools) Consideration of the level of support for the material revision of the eight (8) LAUSD-authorized Aspire Public Schools charter schools, to come under the governance and operation of Aspire Los Angeles, an independent California nonprofit public benefit corporation. The eight (8) LAUSD-authorized Aspire Public Schools charter schools combined serve 2,953 students in grades TK-12. The proposed change would go into effect commencing in the 2027-2028 academic year, contingent upon Aspire Public Schools and Aspire Los Angeles meeting all applicable requirements.
Invictus Leadership Academy (Board District 1, Region South) Consideration of the level of support for the material revision to add an additional site within the community at a private site at 1755 W. 52nd Street, Los Angeles, CA 90062. Invictus Leadership Academy serves 184 students in grades TK-8. The proposed change would go into effect commencing in the second semester of the 2026-2027 academic year, contingent upon Invictus Leadership Academy meeting all applicable requirements.
