Approve the renewal petition for ICEF Innovation Los Angeles Charter ("Charter School"), a Start-Up Independent charter school with a benchmark in the area of academics (ELPI), located in Board District 1 and Region South, for five (5) years, beginning July 1, 2026 until June 30, 2031, to serve up to 370 students in grades TK-5 in each year of the charter term. The charter school is requesting to reduce enrollment capacity from 450 to 370 students to align with its enrollment projections based on its enrollment trends in the current term. The recommendation for approval is based on the information set forth in the attached Staff Assessment and Recommendation Report.

ICEF Innovation Los Angeles Charter is a TK-5 school currently serving 245 students on a private facility at 5029 S. Vermont Avenue, Los Angeles, CA, 90037 in Board District 1 and Region South. ICEF Innovation Los Angeles Charter was originally approved by the LAUSD Board of Education on July 8, 2008. On September 12, 2017, the charter school was renewed for a five-year term to serve 450 students in grades TK-5.
