Skirball Middle (“Charter School”), a Start-Up Independent charter school, with benchmarks in the areas of academics (English Language Arts for Students with Disabilities; Math for Students with Disabilities and Long-Term English Learners) and academic engagement (Chronic Absenteeism), located in Board District 7 and Region South, for a term of five (5) years, beginning July 1, 2027, until June 30, 2032, to serve up to 450 students in grades 6-8 in each year of the charter term. The recommendation for approval is based on the information set forth in the attached Staff Assessment and Recommendation Report.
