Background:
Beginning with the 2025-26 school year, early education programs are required to submit applications for the California State Preschool Program (CSPP) and California Prekindergarten and Family Literacy Support Programs (CPKS), as outlined in Attachment A. Additionally, the Continued Funding Application (CFA), included as Attachment B, must be submitted to the California Department of Social Services (CDSS-CCTR), by December 16, 2026, following approval by the Board of Education
Expected Outcomes:
If the CFA is approved by the CDE, LAUSD’s current California State Preschool Program contract and Prekindergarten and Family Literacy Support contract will be automatically renewed for fiscal year (FY) 2027–28.
