Approve the renewal petition for ICEF View Park Preparatory Elementary (“Charter School”), a Start-Up Independent charter school, located in Board District 1 and Region South, for a term of five (5) years, beginning July 1, 2027 until June 30, 2032, to serve up to 505 students in grades TK-5 in each year of the charter term. Charter School is requesting to reduce enrollment from 650 students to 505 students to align with its enrollment projections based on its enrollment trends. The recommendation for approval is based on the information set forth in the attached Staff Assessment and Recommendation Report.

ICEF View Park Preparatory Elementary is a TK-5 school currently serving 486 students on a private facility at 5311 S. Crenshaw Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90043 in Board District 1 and Region South. ICEF View Park Preparatory Elementary was originally approved by the LAUSD Board of Education on March 9, 1999. On November 27, 2018, the charter school was renewed for a five-year term to serve 650 students in grades TK-5.
