(Approval of the Renewal Petition for Alliance Renee and Meyer Luskin Academy High) Recommends approval of the renewal petition for Alliance Renee and Meyer Luskin Academy High, a Middle performing, Start-Up Independent charter school, with benchmarks in the areas of academics (English Language Arts for the English Learner student group) and conditions and climate (Suspension Rate for the African American/Black student group), located in Board District 1 and Region South, for five (5) years, beginning July 1, 2027, until June 30, 2032, to serve up to 600 students in grades 9-12 in each year of the charter term.

Approve the renewal petition for Alliance Renee and Meyer Luskin Academy High (“Charter School”), a Start-Up Independent charter school, with benchmarks in the areas of academics (English Language Arts for the English Learner student group) and conditions and climate (Suspension Rate for the African American/Black student group), located in Board District 1 and Region South, for a term of five (5) years, beginning July 1, 2027, until June 30, 2032, to serve up to 600 students in grades 9-12 in each year of the charter term. The recommendation for approval is based on the information set forth in the attached Staff Assessment and Recommendation Report.

Alliance Renee and Meyer Luskin Academy High was originally approved by the LAUSD Board of Education on May 24, 2011.
